
Introduction
We built this industrial fan heater for the plant floor—the kind of place where you need heat that hits the mark, fast, without taking up a ton of room. It pairs a shortwave halogen lamp with a direct-drive fan, all packed into a compact housing. The whole idea? Get heat where you need it, almost instantly, and wire it in without tearing your panel apart.
Technical Deep-Dive
It runs on 400V and puts out 2500W through a 300mm tube. That voltage keeps the current draw low, so you can run longer cables without having to oversize the wiring. The 300mm length gives you a tight thermal footprint—perfect for those tight corners on packaging lines, conveyors, and process equipment. The fan pulls air across the hot zone, so you get even warmth instead of one blistering hot spot.
Material & Design
Inside, the halogen element runs hot and clean, with a shortwave profile that heats up quickly. The quartz tube is coated to stand up to chemicals and thermal stress, so it won’t cloud up or burn out early. For termination, we went with an R7s connector. It locks in solid, handles vibration, and makes the lamp a simple drop-in replacement when it’s time for service.
Application & Benefits
Use this heater for spot heating and localized drying—think PET blowing preheat zones. The 2500W output gives you serious heat density, but that also means your machine’s cooling and airflow need to keep up. Plan for enough clearance and air exchange so the components stay in their safe temperature range.
