They&amp;rsquo;re talking about how the lead wires are sealed into the quartz tube. For cheap units, this is exactly where things fall apart.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The heat is the enemy.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Infrared lamps get incredibly hot. In the budget versions, the glue holding the wire to the glass is usually some cheap silicone or epoxy. It works for a while, but as the heater turns on and off, that glue shrinks. It cracks.&#xA;Once that seal is gone, the humid air of your bathroom sneaks inside the tube. The tungsten filament oxidizes, and the insulation starts to fail. It&amp;rsquo;s a slow death.&#xA;That’s why we go with high-temperature glass-to-metal seals or ceramic potting. It keeps the vacuum tight. If that seal isn&amp;rsquo;t perfect, your lamp will be dead in a few weeks. Simple as that.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Then there&amp;rsquo;s the wiring.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Standard PVC or basic silicone wires just can&amp;rsquo;t handle the heat. The warmth doesn&amp;rsquo;t just stay in the lamp; it radiates backward toward the wires. Without a proper seal and some serious heat-resistant sleeves, the insulation literally melts.&#xA;And once it melts? You&amp;rsquo;ve got a short circuit.&#xA;We use fluorinated polymers or high-grade fiberglass braiding for our wires. These things don&amp;rsquo;t even flinch at 200°C. You need that extra headroom because the inside of the housing often gets way hotter than the wire&amp;rsquo;s official rating.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The honest trade-off.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Doing things this way takes more time and costs more money. You won&amp;rsquo;t find this kind of detail in a bargain-bin heater.&#xA;But it&amp;rsquo;s the difference between a product that lasts and one that creates a fire hazard. Just make sure your housing is vented properly—it keeps those seals happy and working exactly how they should.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
